Presentation - CIR Award for Public Service Manager of the Year
At the Business Continuity Awards ceremony held at the prestigious London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square on 8th June, ClearView was delighted to sponsor the Award for Public Service Manager of the Year.
This year, the winner was Carl Mayfield, Risk and Business Continuity Officer at Milton Keynes Council. The judges commended Carl on the sweeping changes and improvements he has made to the effectiveness of Business Continuity and Risk Management at Milton Keynes with a clear focus on maintaining and improving resilience. As with all local authorities, these improvements have been made against the backdrop of cost controls and Carl highlighted the role played by ClearView BCM software in supporting his efforts and successes in this area, to ensure that BCM is effectively embedded throughout the organisation. The judges were also impressed with Carl's work in providing assistance and advice to external organisations through his involvement in the Milton Keynes Business Resilience Forum.
Although Carl was, regrettably, unable to attend the Awards ceremony in London, our picture shows ClearView Head of Business Development, Jon Mitchell, presenting Carl with his Award at the BCI South Midlands Forum on 15th June.
