Financial Sector Focus

During one of the conference sessions on Financial Sector Focus, Ian Crabb, Chief Operating Officer, ClearView spoke about Compliance and beyond - uncovering opportunities from resilience and continuity. This was part of a wider presentation involving speakers from the Royal Bank of Scotland and Nationwide Building Society.

Innovation and Creativity

Other activities included Sean Murphy, CEO, Lootok, our North American business partners giving a presentation entitled ‘Creative ways to train your staff, build awareness & drive adoption of Business Continuity. In this, he focused on one of the most important areas of a BC Programme that is often over-looked - engaging your people by building a BC brand and turning BC activities into positive and welcomed events.

Turning BC Challenges into Success

During a presentation entitled "Turning BCM Challenges into BCM Success", Conor Litchfield, Head of BCM at Allied Irish Banks, together with Charles Boffin, CEO of ClearView, discussed some of the common challenges faced by hard-pressed BCM Managers in implementing a robust BC Programme with some practical suggestions as to how these potential problems can turn into practical successes.
